| When you are ready to purchase and have chosen
your broker/lender, it is best to be as prepared as possible when you
meet with them. All lenders have conditions that need to be filled. Below
is a checklist of information to take with you to your meeting to ensure
that you’re ahead of the game.
- Job Letter from your employer
- Last Pay Stub
- T4 Slip
- Void Cheque
- Notice of Assessment for previous year
- Bank Statement
- Name of preferred Lawyer
- Down payment information (cash, gift, rrsp etc)
- List of credit cards, loans, and lines of credit with balances owing
If this is not your first purchase or you are renewing at a lower rate
with another lender, you may be required to supply this additional information.
- Mortgage Statement from the previous year
- Copy of the existing mortgage with your current lender
- Property Tax Statement
- Property Survey Certificate
